To Crinkley:
As you know, I was a young, semi-innocent lad
living in the southern US. I was looking
thru a "cut-out" bin at a low budget
department store (around 1970). I spied
Family:Entertainment & thought to myself
hmm... should I risk 50 cents? Yeah! what
the hell!I'll try it. I put it on the phonograph
when I got home.I really did'nt think there would be anything "special
about it. Then IT came!Roger's voice! it
cut through my soul down to me bowels!
Is this the most awesome,unique voice
i had ever heard, or was I about to lose
my lunch? (Just kidding!)I was OVERWHELMED
in my not so innocent youth! This band
kicks ass! Where have they been?
Where have I been? It changed music as I
knew it FOREVER! I desperately sought out their music afterwards
& to this very day!!! ANYONE got
a copy of "ENTERTAINMENT" they could tape me?????
