I believe it to be Ric Grech singing the main part w/Chappo & the others joining in on the chorus. In fact there are two versions (or mixes) of Observations. One from "Entertainment" & the other from "Old Songs, New Songs" It is one of my faves, especially the chorus when Chappo goes deep down on "hilllll...."
